The bio-enhancing properties of Bio-humate ‘Poly Plus’ are essential for today’s progressive Eco-farmers. By feeding the soil as well as the plant, the vast interdependent of microscopic beneficial soil micro-flora is enhanced, enabling natural processes to take place. This huge integrated workforce has the ability to feed and defend the living plant, maximising the yield and quality potential of the crop species. Soil vitamins, enzymes, proteins, antibiotics, metabolic processes etc. so naturally necessary for the vitality of the crop are all related to the soil micro-organisms.
- Bio-humate ‘Poly Plus’ concentrates are complete highly soluble forms of a group 11 humic acids used in agriculture to improve soil structure, buffer against the effects of both salinity and adverse pH.
- Bio-humate ‘Poly Plus’ increases water retention and generally improves soil fertility by encouraging beneficial soil micro-organisms and fungal activity.
- Bio-humate ‘Poly Plus’ is beneficial particularly on soils over fertilised with phosphates, nitrates etc.
OF 34 Bio-humate ‘Ocean Life”
A specially formulated blend of hydrolysed shellfish protein at low heat, liquefied seaweed extract, humic and fulvic acid and molasses.
BENEFITS: Ferbon “OCEAN LIFE” has been formulated for two specific uses.
- As a bio stimulant on ground spray to encourage the proliferation of micro-flora in the soil and at the same time activate seed germination.
- As a growth tonic spray on to emerging leaves to nurture them towards maturity.
SHELLFISH: The biological chain reaction of the multi level amino acids derived from marine sourced fish facilitates the breakdown in the soil of calcium & sulphur based compounds in addition to various animal manures, mineral fertilisers and green wastes. This improves soil structure, moisture retention and drainage and the release of soil locked-up nutrients.
SEAWEED: Seaweed extract is well known for its ability to reduce stress levels of plants during periods of drought, but beneficial effects of hormone related constituents have distinct bearing on chlorophyll and photo-synthesis efficiency.
HUMIC ACIDS AND HUMATES: The inclusion of humates/fulvates in the formulation has an important effect on soil structure and on the ability of the soil to allow ingress of oxygen. The buffering effect of these two additives has not only a chelating action on soil nutrients (enabling a gradual take-up of these by the plant roots) but also a sequestering effect on the residues of pesticides and weedicides.
MOLASSES: The inclusion of molasses in fish based fertilisers is not only to promote the propagation of micro-organisms, but also to encourage the proliferation of beneficial fungi.
OF 95 Super Fish Solute
Ferbon Super Fish Solute stimulates beneficial soil bacteria (Azotobacter & Rhizobium) and earth worms. This leads to an increased natural release and recycling of nutrients. With repeated use, in combination with a Ferbon soil conditioner, soil texture will become more friable and moisture retentive with greater useful natural fertility. Plants with wider and deeper root systems can feed and drink from a larger area with more nutrients available.
